Telehealth

Telehealth services involve the provision of psychological therapy via a video consultation or telephone session. 

Telehealth is provided via Coviu or FaceTime- both secure and encrypted platforms.

Each appointment is 50 minutes, with 10 mins for administration and treatment planning.

If you have a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) you are eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual therapy sessions in the calendar year.

If you have an Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDTP) you are eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for up to 40 psychology sessions in the calendar year.

Fees and Rebates (for 2024):

For initial assessments, the fee is $300.

For subsequent sessions (before 4:30pm), the fee is $265

For subsequent sessions (at 4:30pm and 5:30pm), the fee is $275.

The Medicare rebate for 50+mins is $141.85.

Please note that this is not a bulk billing practice.

You may also be able to claim for psychological therapy under your Private Health Insurance, which could cover a significant portion of your fees depending on your level of cover. Please check your policy or call your Insurance Provider to confirm whether psychology services are covered under your existing plan.

Please note, if you are receiving a Medicare rebate for an appointment, you are unable to claim private health insurance on the same appointment.
