Telehealth services can be provided to clients ANYWHERE in the world (except for North America) via a video consultation.
Telehealth is provided via an Australian Telehealth Software platform, Coviu or through FaceTime. Both are secure and encrypted platforms and approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
Telehealth is offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
In clinic services are provided in two locations across Sydney.
From May 2026, Dr Salena will be based at the following locations:
Wednesdays:
Suite 24, 6-8 Old Castle Hill Road, Castle Hill, NSW 2154
This clinic offers visitor parking directly outside as well as free parking immediately opposite the building in Castle Towers Shopping Centre. It is also a short stroll from Castle Hill Metro station.
Thursdays:
Suite 6, 46 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove, NSW 2066
This clinic offers ample, free car park spaces directly outside in Harris Farm Markets and is also serviced by multiple bus routes. It is in the midst of a lovely shopping and cafe precinct.
These services are offered to individuals who have sustained a psychological injury at work and have taken out a WorkCover claim with an insurance provider.
Psychological treatment is typically provided during the day via Telehealth or in clinic.
Workcover involves liaising with your Insurance Case Manager to provide reports on your return-to-work progress.
ADHD Support Services are offered to older adolescents (16+) or Adults who have been living with ADHD, whether newly diagnosed or seeking better ways to manage daily challenges.
These services include psychoeducation about ADHD and practical skill-building for organisation, time management, overcoming procrastination and emotional regulation.
The goal is to help clients better understand their unique ADHD profile and develop systems to reduce overwhelm, improve executive functioning and foster self-confidence.
Healthy boundary coaching can help clients—especially those who identify as people pleasers— to find their voice and express their needs with clarity and confidence at work and in interpersonal relationships (e.g. with friends, family or partners).
Coaching includes identifying mindset blocks that hinder effective communication to make it easier to learn assertive communication skills, boundary-setting strategies and strategies for managing difficult conversations with greater ease.
The goal is to move away from patterns of over-explaining, saying “yes” when you mean “no,” or avoiding hard conversations to the detriment of a relationship.
Dr Salena is a Psychology Board Approved Supervisor.
Peer supervision is also available for other Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinicians (CEDC’s) who wish to meet the annual CPD requirements.
Fees are set for 50 minute sessions, with additional 10 minutes for record keeping and treatment planning.
Dr Salena’s fees are considerably less than the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) recommended fee for a standard consultation, but also reflect her extensive experience as a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist.
Please email admin@drsalenab.com.au for a list of current fees.
* Please note- Dr Salena does not offer bulk-billing services however your out-of-pocket expenses may be significantly less if you are eligible for a Medicare Rebate or a Private Health Fund rebate. Please read below for further information.
Medicare rebates are available to reduce your out-of-pocket expenses when seeing a Psychologist or other Allied Health Professional.

If you are eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), and your GP provides you with a referral letter to see a Psychologist, you can receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology therapy sessions in the calendar year.
If you are eligible for an Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDTP), and your GP or Psychiatrist provides you with a referral letter to see a Psychologist, you can receive Medicare rebates for up to 40 individual psychology therapy sessions in the calendar year.
Eligibility for an EDTP includes:
Medicare rebate amounts increase every year on the 1st July to account for inflation.
Please email admin@drsalenab.com.au for the current Medicare rebate amounts and out-of-pocket costs.
When clients reach the Medicare Safety Net threshold, your fee is subsidised significantly by Medicare. Out-of-pocket expenses can then reduce to as low as $20 for some individuals.
As a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist, Dr Salena is eligible to provide psychology services for the vast majority of private health funds including Medibank, BUPA, HCF, HIF, NIB, AHM, Members Health, Australian Unity, Teachers Fund and others.
Please check your health insurance policy or call your insurance provider to confirm whether psychology services are covered under your existing plan.
Health fund rebates will differ for each person depending on your policy and level of cover.
Please note, if you are receiving a Medicare rebate for an appointment, you are unable to claim a private health rebate for the same appointment.
